Launch a Solana token without putting up money for trading.

Pick a name and a starting price. Latch puts every token into a public trading pool and locks it, so people can buy from the first minute. You earn a fee on every trade.

All 1 billion tokens go into the pool and you keep none. To hold some, buy them like everyone else, or buy up to 10 percent at launch, in the open.

Launching creates a real token on the live Solana network and spends real SOL on fees. Latch has not been audited and has never run on the live network, so try a small test first. Latch’s fee vault, renames that wait in public and fee claims by X account are built and tested locally, but not switched on for this site.

The vertical axis is a log scale: each gridline is a fixed multiple higher, so the curve looks gentler than it is. “Value of all tokens” is price times 1 billion tokens. It is not money in the pool: buying every token takes only 632 SOL. The fee comes out of the tokens a buyer receives. Dollar figures assume $150 per SOL, for illustration.

In plain words

You choose a name, a symbol and a starting price. Latch puts all 1 billion tokens into a public pool and locks it. People buy them with SOL, and every trade pays a small fee that you collect. The lock means nobody, including you, can take out what is in the pool. It does not protect the price: if people sell, it falls, down to the starting price.

Everything here is unaudited and has never run on the live network. The launch page shows the same status where you choose.

What you get, and what is not built yet

Every feature has a status. Dark tags mark the ones where you have to trust a person, a key or a service.

Trading starts at once

Your tokens go into a standard pool on Meteora, a Solana trading program, so people can buy them from the token page here, or from any app that has found the pool. There is no separate launch phase and no move to another pool later.

LiveBuilt on Meteora

You earn from every trade

The pool is permanently locked in Meteora's program, so no wallet can pull the liquidity out. Every trade pays a fee, buying or selling, in SOL and in your token, and you collect it on the fees page. Meteora keeps 20 percent of each fee (from Meteora's current code; not yet confirmed on a live pool). Without the vault the rest goes to your wallet. With the vault, Latch takes a share of the rest.

Check any token before you buy

Paste a token address and the token page reads the chain: who can change the name, whether the supply is fixed, how much liquidity is locked, who holds the fee rights and who can upgrade the programs. It lists red flags first and never claims a token is safe.

LiveReads the chain

Renames wait in public

Choose at launch whether the name and picture can change. With the vault, a change is queued and applies only after a public wait that anyone can see on-chain. This site sets 48 hours; read the number on the token page. Handing the name to the vault cannot be undone, and the name can then never be frozen. Without the vault, your wallet can change them instantly, with no warning.

Collect fees with your X account

Name an X account at launch and its owner signs in to claim your share. A signing service we run checks that login, so you have to trust it. It is built and tested with a stand-in login only. It has never run against the real X service, and it needs X credentials, a claim signer set in the vault, and the vault itself to run for real.

Buyers can pay with tokenized stocks

There is no special pool. The token page links to the Jupiter swap app, which may find a route from tokenized stocks such as NVDAx (not available in the US) through SOL to your token. It only works if Jupiter has found your pool.

What you still have to trust

Code that anyone can check fixes the supply and locks the pool. Beyond that, you are trusting people and keys. The short version is below, and the full list is in the security model.

The creator

They can buy first from another wallet. At the default setting (a 20 SOL starting value and a 1,000x ceiling), a 10 SOL buy takes about a third of all tokens before the fee, and about 29 percent after the opening fee. They can also change the name and picture unless they locked them, and they receive fees partly as the launched token, which they can sell.

The trading fee

Every trade pays a fee, buying or selling. It starts at 15 percent and eases to 1 percent over the first 10 minutes. Meteora keeps 20 percent of every fee (from Meteora’s current code; not yet confirmed on a live pool). Without the vault, the rest goes to the creator’s wallet. With the vault, the creator chooses their share of the fees after Meteora’s cut and Latch keeps the remainder, never less than 5 percent of that. Fees are paid partly in the launched token, which whoever receives them can sell.

Meteora

The pool and its lock run on Meteora’s code, not ours. Its admin can pause a pool, and its upgrade key decides whether the lock could ever change. Check who holds it before you rely on the lock.

Latch’s keys

When the vault is on, its upgrade key and admin could redirect fees, and the key of the X claim signing service could release any waiting X-account share. The plan is several signers, a delay, and burning the upgrade key after an audit. The vault is not switched on for this site. Read the full list.

From form to first trade

You approve two pop-ups in your wallet, or three if the vault is switched on. Keep the page open until it finishes.

  1. Name your tokenChoose a name, symbol and picture. Latch creates exactly 1 billion tokens and switches off the power to make more.
  2. Pick the starting value and the topYou choose what all the tokens are worth at the start, and how high that can climb. Latch turns it into a price range for the pool.
  3. Open the poolAll the tokens go into a public trading pool. You keep none, unless you choose a first buy of up to 10 percent, made in the open in the same transaction. You pay Solana's network fees and some account deposits, and put nothing into the pool.
  4. Lock itlockedThe pool is locked for good. Nobody can take out what is inside, including you.
  5. People start tradingBuyers swap SOL for your token. Each trade pays a fee, and the fees build up for you to collect.
