Launch a token

This creates a real token on the live Solana network, with real SOL for fees. You put nothing into the pool and keep none of the tokens unless you choose a first buy.

The token
What people see in wallets. Up to 32 characters, spaces allowed.
2 to 10 letters or numbers. No spaces, emoji or symbols like $. Shown in capitals.
A link to a small file that points to your picture and description. Without it, wallets show your token with no picture. If you also lock the name and picture below, it can never get one.
Price range
A middle setting. Most of the supply still goes to the first buyers.
Your starting market cap: the price of one token times 1 billion. About $3K at $150 per SOL. A low start lets early buyers take a big share: with your numbers, 1 SOL buys about 4.1% of all tokens after the opening fee. You cannot change this later.
1,000 means the value can climb to 20K SOL (about $3M). Only 632 SOL ($94.9K) can ever flow into the pool to get there. Numbers only: 1000, not 1,000.

What your numbers do

Drag the slider to try a buy.

The vertical axis is a log scale: each gridline is a fixed multiple higher, so the curve looks gentler than it is. “Value of all tokens” is price times 1 billion tokens. It is not money in the pool: buying every token takes only 632 SOL. The fee comes out of the tokens a buyer receives. Dollar figures assume $150 per SOL, for illustration.

With your numbers a 10 SOL buy (about $1.5K) gets 29% of all tokens, and a 1 SOL buy gets 4.1%, after the opening fee.

Fees and renames
The vault is not switched on for this site. It is built and tested locally, but not deployed, so here you keep all the fees after Meteora’s cut, cannot name an X account, and a rename is instant. These options appear when the vault is switched on.
Your launch wallet keeps the right. Buyers have to trust you not to use it, and a change takes effect at once.
Optional: buy some yourself at launch
It is made from your launch wallet in the same transaction that opens the pool, so nobody can buy before you, and anyone can see it on chain. Up to 10% of the supply (2.655 SOL with these settings). You can lose this money like any buyer.
Untested path. This transaction type has not been run on any network yet. If it fails, your token already exists and you can continue the launch without a first buy.
More about the first buy

The token page shows it, and its creator-holdings check will show a warning once you hold more than 1% of the supply, while the tokens stay in your launch wallet. Latch cannot see tokens you move to other wallets.

What will happen

The token
Your token (SYMBOL): exactly 1,000,000,000 tokens. No more can ever be made, and nobody can freeze them.
Where they go
All of them go into a public trading pool. You keep none.
Starting value
20 SOL (about $3K at $150 per SOL). It can rise to 20K SOL.
Trading fees
Everyone who trades pays a fee, buying or selling: 15% at first, falling steadily to 1% after 10 minutes. Meteora keeps 20% of each fee (from Meteora’s current code; not yet confirmed on a live pool). You get the rest. They are paid as SOL and some of your own token.
Locked
locked Nobody can take what is in the pool out, including you. People can still buy and sell, and you can still collect fees.
Name and picture
You keep the right to change them, instantly.
Your cost
Network fees and account deposits, roughly 0.04 SOL (about $6). This is an estimate: we have not measured it on the live network. Solana holds some of the deposits, and some come back when accounts are closed, so they are not a fee. You put nothing into the pool.
